A group from SUNY Plattsburgh studies sedimentology as they participate in a field trip to Ausable Point State Park in Peru, led by instructor Dave Franzi. Sedimentology is the study of sediments such as sand, silt and clay and the processes that result in their formation, including erosion and weathering. While walking the beach, the students were treated to a show by wind surfers from Montreal.
