Plattsburgh High School juniors Molly Channell and Casey Bezio share a laugh while Brenda Bieber, Bezio’s mother, attempts to pose the couple for some photographs set against Hawkins Pond on a picture-perfect spring day prior to their junior prom. It’s prom season, with students dressed to the nines and enjoying dinners at local restaurants and after-prom parties. Local police have been pushing a “No Empty Chair” campaign to discourage teens from drinking alcohol during these events.
