Only charred wreckage and twisted metal is left from the 100-by-100-foot barn that burned at 50 County Route 43 in Fort Covington Wednesday night. As many as 100 calves died in the blaze on William and Loretta Brockway’s farm, Fort Covington Volunteer Fire Department Fire Chief Ben Treptow said. The cause remained under investigation Thursday.
