Sandy Reese of Morrisonville (left) pays close attention to instruction from artist Lorrie Mandigo during the recent Enhanced Adult Coloring class at Strand Centre for the Arts in Plattsburgh. A little know-how about shading with colored pencils or watercolor markers adds vibrancy and dimension to a the artist said. The Strand offers a broad spectrum of classes, including clay, fiber arts, framing, photography, theater and dance. Mandigo has her own studio, too; Lorrie Mandigo Art Studio & Gallery is located at 30 Broad St., Plattsburgh.
