Participants in the recent Great Strides Walk in Plattsburgh are the latest in a long line of those helping to bring a cure for cystic fibrosis. The annual event, begun 23 years ago by Kathy Lawliss, who daughter lives with the disease, has raised thousands of dollars to contribute to the cause.
