Children toss slices of bread to a gathering crowd of cattle at Conroys Organics on Saturday afternoon. The hay ride was one of many activities held there as part of a Small Business Saturday event that included face painting, a bounce house, local artisan vendors and live music from Taylor LaValley and Giovanina Bucci. Now in its fifth year, Small Business Saturday encourages shoppers to support their local businesses, with many area businesses offering discounts and other promotions to attract customers.
