The recent event was hosted by Clinton County Traffic Safety and happens about once every month at various locations. Car-seat fitting stations are open year-round at the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department, Plattsburgh City Police Department and the Child Care Coordinating Council. “We make sure parents are well educated,” said Anika Craig, traffic safety specialist for the Sheriff’s Department. “They leave safer than when they arrived. And that’s the goal.”
