In his Morrisonville home, Robert Yoder reads an original manuscript of a poem entitled "Gallant Deeds," written by John Greenleaf Whittier. The manuscript was given to him by his father-in-law. Whittier, a New England poet, died in 1892 and was an abolitionist who used his writings to fight against slavery.
