For his project at the Champlain Valley Regional Science Fair in Plattsburgh, Cody Gadway, an eighth-grader at Beekmantown Central School, measured the electrical current levels in different electronic appliances and how much that electricity would cost. He found the use of a microwave was the most expensive, closely followed by the use of a hairdryer.
