Wayne Hewson and son Matt (right) prepare a wooden fence to be a skirmish line re-enactors will use during a Civil War Encampment at the Old Base in Plattsburgh this weekend. More than 150 participants are expected for the event, which is free for spectators. The encampment is sponsored by the Clinton County Historical Association, 11th N.Y. Battery Light Artillery and Alexandria Battery.
